Skills and Experience Required:Education:  BA/BSYears of Experience:  7-10 in direct marketing and/or rewards marketing, global experience a plusMBA or related experience preferredThrough knowledge and extensive experience in direct-to-consumer marketing, including:  customer database design, customer segmentation, consumer targeting, data modeling, response tracking, campaign results measurement,  data appending, customer prospecting, and customer treatment /relationship management strategies.  Experience across various channels (direct mail, email, SMS/text message and outbound telemarketing) preferred.Strong experience in consumer loyalty programs, including program structure, communications and customer acquisition, activation, and retention strategies.  Ability to understand and measure key program financial metrics to determine program value and expense.  Evaluate emerging trends in direct-to-consumer marketing, both within and outside of the financial services industry.  Identify opportunities to test new program types to enhanced internal capabilities and programs.  Outstanding leadership skills, including a track record of developing distinctive strategic direction, and translating broad strategies into specific objectives and action plans.  Capability to lead, advance and implement direct-to-consumer marketing strategies/programs with a minimum of supervision and direction.  Ability to drive execution, integrating efforts across units and functions, monitoring results and tracking problems directly and in a timely fashion.Proven change agent.  Track record of championing new initiatives within and beyond the scope of own job, stimulating others to make changes and improvements.  Detailed understanding of consumer privacy principals ensuring appropriate collection, storage, transmission and use of customer’s personal identifiable information.  Strong hands-on project management experience, successfully driving projects that are customer-focused as well as technical in nature.  Experience in effectively leading and managing activities on multiple simultaneous cross-functional and cross-organizational projects.  Identify and prioritize tasks and dependencies to achieve project objective.  Ensure adequate resources are dedicated to project to achieve key milestones.  Resourceful, detail oriented, methodical, and demonstrates time management skillsDirect management experience, including effective selection and interviewing, performance management, professionally developing and coaching staff, clarifying roles and responsibilities, fostering teamwork and resolving conflicts.  Demonstrated decision-making ability, and assuming responsibility for decisions.Capability to communicate effectively (written and oral), concisely and professionally with senior management, agents and other key stakeholders.  Ability to explain complex and analytical concepts to audience in support of communication objectives.
